Born in 1979, I grew up in the great state of Texas! Growing up, though, I always knew there was something missing in my life. I looked to fill the emptiness with a number of things: dating, partying, dressing a certain way, getting good grades, etc. But, I was disappointed again and again when those things just didn’t cut it. At the end of the day I was still left unsatisfied. During my junior year at the University of Texas (GO HORNS!), I joined a small group with Campus Crusade. While there, I began taking notice of how the women talked about Jesus being their best friend and love of their life. What?! I thought that was crazy talk, but stayed around because I liked the friendships!

Then, just before my senior year, God brought me to a breaking point. I realized the emptiness I felt in my life was because I didn’t have God as part of my life. So I threw myself excitedly into a love relationship with God by placing my trust in Jesus to pay the penalty for my sins. It has been a wild ride ever since, and I have loved every minute of it. So in May 2002, I graduated from UT with a degree in Elementary Education. But, through an internship with Campus Crusade that following year, I knew that God wanted me in full time ministry with Campus Crusade.

In July 2003, I met my love, Jimmy Williams. He is the most wonderful man I have ever met. We are now engaged to be married on November 27, 2004 and are excited about doing ministry together at the U of A! Some fun facts about me: I love football (both playing it and watching it), watching movies and eating popcorn, hiking, reading, and cooking for my amazing finace!

I was born in 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia but grew up on the central coast of California in a small town called Lompoc. I became a Christian my freshman year of high school, became involved in the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ in college, and grew a lot in my faith in God during my time in school. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine (Go Anteaters!) with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1999, and I worked in Orange County in technical marketing for 2 years before going into full-time ministry. I was an intern with Campus Crusade at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (from 2001-2003) before coming here to the U of A in January 2004. I am convinced that God wants to move in huge ways on this campus and in Tucson overall, and I’m glad I get to be here and be a part of what He is doing.

Hobbies: I like to play all kinds of sports like football, baseball, basketball, ultimate frisbee- pretty much, you name it. I also enjoying running, hiking, singing and playing a mean shaker (maybe one day in a Latin salsa band?), strumming some guitar, hanging out with friends, traveling to new places. Unlike Bic (see above), I am fairly confident in having a few dance moves, but I am in doubt as to my skills in the game of kickball.

A few tidbits:
My hat size is 7 3/4″ (”Look at the size of that boy’s HEED!”)
I tried out for teen Jeopardy once in high school. No, didn’t make it on the show.
“Glitter” is one of my top five movies of all time… Wait- no, not quite. (Don’t believe everything you read!)

My name is Jennifer Bickerton. I am the wife of Jon, a.k.a Bic, Bickerton and a child of God. Yeah! I grew up in Ohio, but I love it here. I have four beautiful brothers, two sexy sisters and a chinese crested dog named Dave. I graduated from the UofA (finally) and this is my first year on staff with Campus Crusade. I love Jesus and my favorite movie is The Money Pit.

I was born in Ohio but have spent the majority of my life in beautiful, sunny Tucson basking in the sun and hugging saguaros. I became a believer in Christ through Campus Crusade at the U of A in the fall of 1997 and have been on staff with them since the winter of 2001. Among my many bragable attributes are my ability to get around town without a car and my incredible skill at the game of kickball. Despite my complete lack of athletic ability and dance moves, I feel good about myself and hope that some day all men who suffer from white man’s disease will realize that they, too, have value in our society.

I was born in 1978 in Fontana, CA. I grew up in La Verne, CA and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2000 with a degree in English. I like to read and go shopping. My favorite sports are gymnastics which I did 7 years competitively and field hockey. Chris and I have been in Tucson since March 2003. My desire for the U of A is that students would encounter God in such a powerful way that their lives would be transformed and they would develop a strong walk with Jesus Christ.

I was born in 1976 in Los Gatos, CA. I grew up in San Diego and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1999 with a degree in Psychology. I enjoy swimming, water polo, surfing, and basketball. Without much water in Tucson, I have to focus on swimming and playing B-ball. I got married to my wife Kathryn in November of 2000. We have been on staff since January of 2001 and are now working with Campus Crusade here at the U of A. My heart and vision is that every student at the U of A would have a chance to hear how they can know Jesus personally and experience a deep relationship with Him.

I grew up in a Jewish home in Rowland Heights, California. When I was a senior in high school, my boyfriend at the time explained to me the importance of having a relationship with Jesus Christ. With tears in my eyes, I asked Christ in my life 2 weeks before entered college at the University of California at Pomona. At Pomona, I got really involved in Crusade leading Bible studies. After working for a year and a half writing computer software programs for a big accounting company, I left to join the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. My first assignment was at San Diego State University. After serving there for 2 years, I was asked to be the Associate Campus Director at the University of California, Irvine. I served there for 5 years. On April 23rd, 1999, I married Joe. We moved to Las Vegas where we were the directors at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. We have three children: Tara, Kyle and Megan.

I’m older than Gary by 4 years and have been on staff 24 years. I grew up not going to church but in college began asking questions about the meaning of life. I asked God if He were real that He would show me. 3 days later I received a phone call from students involved with Campus Crusade. They asked me if I would like to know Christ personally. I have been following Him since then and it has been an adventure. There is never a dull moment being on staff, raising 6 children, and being Gary’s wife.

I grew up in the Carolinas working in tobacco fields, playing sports, and going on frog gigging hunts at midnight. I went to NC State and graduated in 1983 majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on International Relations and Business. I grew up going to church which was a tradition in our family. But during my Freshmen year in college, a guy in my dorm explained to me how to know Jesus Christ personally and I made that decision to put my faith in Him and to begin that relationship back in 1978 in Sullivan Hall. I’ve been on staff for 20 years now and have been at the U of A since ‘97 so I really have never left campus life. I’m a dad with 6 kids and our oldest is a Freshman at a small university in Texas. I love sports and camping and spontaneous adventures, but I sure do miss my bullfrog gigging!
